I’m teaching a workshop this coming Thursday as part of the Spring 2015 Digital Fellows Workshop Series:
WordPress 1: Establishing A Digital Academic Identity
Thursday, March 12th 2015 – 6:30-8:00pm; Room C196.02
The purpose of this workshop is to familiarize participants with the WordPress platform while creating a digital academic identity on the CUNY Commons. We will focus on the main design and content components of a WordPress site, including theme editing, managing content, custom menus and image use. We will create a WordPress site on the CUNY Commons that can be used as a digital CV, a blog, or both*. The workshop will be hosted by Andrew G. McKinney and Laura Kane.
